TGF Handshake
Sends departure messages from simulated terminal facilities and performs hand offs at non-live sectors and simulated Terminal/Host facilities.
Key Features:
Simplifies scenario development
Scenario only consists of flight plan messages
Performs hand offs at non-live sectors and simulated Terminal/Host facilities (eliminates the use of ghost positions)
Assigns beacon codes to targets based on the beacon assigned by ERAM when the flight plan is accepted to eliminate the possibility of a scenario having duplicate beacons and external beacons from other facilities
Sends departure messages from simulated terminal facilities
Sends the pref routing assigned by ERAM when flight plan is accepted to TGF, eliminating the current process of exporting the scenario to ATCoach to determine the route TGF targets should be assigned
Toggle flights on frequency at non-live sectors for CPDLC messaging
If the airspace changes, such as with a SA command or combining sectors. the scenario will still be valid and the TGF target routes will be updated based on the SA command
